Christmas drinks: our recipes

Christmas is one of the most magical times of the year, where meetings and meals by the fireplace surrounded by family and friends are common. And nothing better than to start these holidays with an aperitif accompanied by starters, a good, hot mulled wine to warm us or a good cocktail at the end of the banquet.
Drinks are an essential element to accompany us on Christmas Eve around the table while we eat or just chat. If traditional coffee, teas, and good wines are always a pleasure, here we suggest surprising your guests with recipes that are very easy to make.
Spritz
There is nothing better to celebrate the holidays than an aperitif before we get down to dinner. This combination is prepared with Prosecco and Aperol in equal parts and a dash of soda is added.

Ingredients:
- 90 ml de Cava brut of prosecco
- 60 ml Aperol
- 30 ml sparkling water
- Orange
- Ice
How to prepare:
- Serve in a glass of vi.
- Fill it with ice halfway.
- Add cava, Aperol, and sparkling water.
- Mix with a teaspoon.
- Garnish with an orange slice.
Moscow Mule
Sophisticated in presentation, addictive to the spicy taste of ginger beer, refreshing and incredibly simple to prepare.

- 45 ml vodka
- 10 ml lime juice
- Ice Cubes
- 1 ginger beer
- Mint
- Lime
- 1 cup copper
How to prepare:
- Add a tablespoon of chopped ice to the cup.
- Add the vodka and lime juice.
- Stir and shake.
- Add ginger beer until the cup is filled.
- Garnish with mint and a slice of lime.
Old Fashioned
It is considered one of the most iconic cocktails in history and is known for its simple preparation and elegant style.

- Bourbon 60 ml
- Sugar syrup 7 ml
- Ice
- Angostura two or three drops
- Orange or lemon
How to prepare:
- Add 2 gels to the glass.
- Add the bourbon, syrup and drops of angostura.
- Stir for 10 seconds.
- Garnish with orange or lemon.
Hot mulled wine
A winter tradition deeply rooted in much of Europe, especially in France. Prepared from mulled wine, sugar, orange, cloves, nutmeg, or cinnamon.

Ingredients:
- 1 litter of red wine
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- 100 g sugar
- 1 cinnamon sprig
- 1 star anise
- 2 species cloves
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
How to prepare:
- Wash, dry and cut the fruit into slices.
- Put it in a saucepan.
- Add wine, sugar, and spices.
- Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Remove, cover, and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Irish Coffee
This is possibly one of the most delicious hot cocktails for any event. Very simple to make, all you need is brown sugar, coffee, Irish whiskey, and liquid cream.

- 30 ml Irish whiskey
- 100 ml liquid cream
- 1 tablespoon se brown sugar
- 45 ml coffee
How to prepare:
- Mix the whiskey with the sugar.
- Heat in the microwave or in a casserole.
- Make coffee and pour it into the glass of whiskey.
- Beat the cream until transformed into cream.
- Pour the cream over the coffee.
Mimosa
It is one of the most popular cava cocktails in recent times. Exquisite and easy to make, all you need is a good cava and fresh orange juice. Ideal to accompany your aperitif.

- 80 ml of raw cava
- 40 ml fresh orange juice
- 20 ml de Cointreau
How to prepare:
- Pour the Cointreau and orange juice into a glass of cava.
- Mix with a small spoon.
- Add the cold cava.
- Mix gently.
- Serve immediately.
